Stay Safe , Stay Healthy

With all the uncertainty going on in the world it is important to make sure we are doing all we can to prevent further spread of the virus. So that we can all get back to our everyday lives! Read letter from our CEO here

1. Practice social distancing and self-quarantine.

It may seem hard to be away from family and friends for such long periods of time but it important to make sure we are protecting our elderly and people who are immunocompromised. A few ways to help pass the time include; picking up a hobby, watching movies, spend time with kids or spouse, take a walk in your garden or in close proximity to your house ( 6 feet apart if with others), learn a new recipe, get started on a bit of spring cleaning. There are so many options to choose from!

2. Be considerate of others

When going out make sure you are going out for only essential things; risking catching the virus for the sake of being outside is not worth your life or others, let's be considerate! Also when shopping in the store be considerate of how many multiples of things you are picking up; we know there are shortages but let's not be the reason someone can't provide something for their families. Another way to pass on kindness is if there is an elderly person searching for something help them out or offer to give something from your cart you have multiples of. Our elderly are the most compromised but they still need necessities as well , let's make life easier for them! Check in on your neighbors and make sure they are okay.

3. Wash hands and avoid contact with face

The best way to stay healthy and prevent the virus is not to buy out all the water in toilet paper and hand sanitizer, but to wash your hands and avoid touching your face! For my family and I whenever we touch anything we make sure to always follow up with washing our hands and minimizing the amount of times we touch our face. ( because let's be honest 100% cutting out touching your face is impossible). A good tip if going outside wear a face mask if you just absolutely can't help touching your face and mouth; but be sure to remember to leave mask for our health care providers and workers.

4. Listen to our leaders

We have all seen on the news as each state begins to implement shutdowns; it is important to listen to what our governors are saying. If they say please stay at home then please just stay at home. There is no need to go outside right now unless you absolutely need too. You may be helping save someone's life.


These tips may sound harsh, but in reality the could be the reason between life and death. Please keep everyone in mind when making the decision to go out. Be sure to support local restaurants and business who may have to shut down due to the lack of business and being forced delivery only or work from home orders. Together we can get through this and have a better tomorrow!
